Treatment and Pricing

It is important to meet and know your doctor before you start your treatment. Come meet our doctor and see if his philosophy matches what you are looking for in a doctor. The appointment is $125.

During your initial visit your doctor will review your form, discuss your concerns, outline his approach to your condition, and will order lab testing, if necessary. Your doctor will also provide literature to review regarding general nutritional guidelines and other information related to your specific health concerns.

$250-- This includes an initial and follow up visit with the doctor.

While in-office visits are preferred, phone consultations are convenient and can substitute for a Return Wellness Visit. Phone consults are best suited to patients who are long distance. Our doctor does accept patients from out of state. 
 

$125 -- Covers the follow up visit.

During weight loss Visits our doctor determines the underlying cause of your weight gain and provides tools to get those extra pounds off for good. The visit may require labs such as thyroid and blood sugar testing. Visit our specific website, www.scaledownmd.com, for our weight loss program.

Payment is due in full at the time of the visit. Cash, Flex cards, HSA cards, and major credit cards are accepted forms of payment. We will help you file any claims with your insurance company. Some of our patients receive partial reimbursement for our program costs. Insurance companies vary considerably in terms of the services they cover and the amount of reimbursement they provide for covered service.

BetterLiving MD requires cancellations for scheduled appointments 24 hours in advance during regular business hours. We reserve the right to charge a $50 fee for missed or cancelled appointments.

As a service to our local community, BetterLiving MD offers businesses and schools an opportunity to hear our doctor speak about health topics of their choice. Lectures are approximately 45 minutes with a 15 minute Q & A period and offered as a free service to groups of 15 or more. Available lectures to date are as follows:

Prepaid Packages

3 or 6 month -- you can call or come in by appointment for any medical issues relating to your care and we will fill your prescriptions at the doctor’s discretion.
